Prior to entering the field of sales and marketing, Jim Slater proudly served as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps.  In 1968-1969 he served in the Republic of Vietnam where he was awarded the Purple Heart.  After completing his time, he was honorably discharged.  The tenacity, leadership and core values that enveloped Jim in his military career later propelled him through college where he majored in Radio, TV and Film and minored in American Studies from the University of Maryland.

Jim joined On Target Media in 2013 as the Vice President of National Marketing and brings over 26 years of advertising experience to the media and new business sales team.  His expansive skill set consists of: creating marketing campaigns for large and small companies that get results, evaluating current marketing trends to ensure competitive positioning of customer service based companies and internet sales knowledge that helps clients succeed and survive.

Outside of work, Jim enjoys gaming and martial arts.
